It’s almost the end of January and we’re already stuck well in to the new year now! It’s terrible to think how time flies. Still, this year is going to be great and I’m excited how I’m going to manage to do everything that I want to do this year!

I’ve largely fallen out of favour with this current iteration of this website. Sharpfolio, as a theme, is good… but I’m almost sure, when my free time permits, that I’m going to update it to the fantastic Viewport. With some tasteful changes ofcourse.

Right now, the whole website is lacking in a lot of recent web design and graphic design work I’ve done. Well, I’d update everything now if I weren’t prying in to the mind of C.S. Lewis and his thoughts about imagination and reason. Then there’s trying to find a record label for my band’s second album… which I hope might see the light of day eventually.

I could write more, but for now… that’s all folks.

I’ve been accepted to Coda’s private beta testing. Panic’s Coda is the best IDE (integrated development environment) on the Mac so it’s pretty cool to test out the next version before its released to the public, especially when updates are kept so close to Panic’s chest. Nerdy times.

So, after a few months of having this website online, but not having a proper website on it, I’ve launched BrownBearArt.com. I’ve got to thank the guys from webrevolutionary.com for their Sharpfolio layout, which I’ve just adapted to what you see now.

I’m not too sure about the image of me above, it’s almost too ridiculous to have, but I guess that’s what I like about it. I’ll also try and keep my portfolio up to date with all my latest work.
I’m currently working on a website for Healing On The Streets, and a website a Booksellers Carriage.

I’ve also got more work upcoming from Just 10 for a lot of promotional materials and a website, as well as my own band Second Monday, who will need artwork for our second album soon. However, I’m quite amazed at some of the work coming from my friend Stephen Daoud, an inspirational illustrator who just won a D&AD New Blood award. Maybe he’ll give me some time off and draw something for Second Monday.

Hopefully this will get a bit more interesting as we go…
